Izzy will take you on an inspiring journey sharing ways to engage your students in Indigenous ways of knowing with curricular aligned project based learning. They will provide stories and examples on how to approach Two Eyed Seeing in STEAM that values culture and has increased student participation, attendance, and inspiration to attend post Secondary. They will also share how their students are developing, VR movies, Bioreactors with biodiesel production, and economic development opportunities for indigenous youth that address climate change, while also addressing the TRC calls to action.
